The largest deep foundation pit project in China 

The total area of the foundation pit of the Phase IV expansion project of Pudong International Airport is about 340,000 m2, the general excavation depth is about 18.6-30.7 m, and the maximum excavation depth is about 36.7 m. It is currently the largest deep foundation pit project in China. Around the foundation pit, there are sensitive protection objects such as maintenance area, energy center, and airside MRT line. At the same time, there are multi-layered interconnected confined aquifers distributed in the deep layer of the site, and the maximum drop of confined water during the excavation period reached 30m. The foundation pit engineering is complex, and the deformation and confined water control are difficult. 

In the foundation pit project, the underground diaphragm wall combined with the ultra-deep and equal-thickness cement-soil mixing wall construction method is used to suspend water-proof curtain, pile-wall integration, TAD construction method prefabricated enclosure structure, prestressed pipe pile enclosure structure, assembled steel combination A series of green, energy-saving and environmentally friendly new technologies such as support, ultra-high pressure jet grouting, and DMP construction method digital micro-disturbance mixing pile.

DMP-I digital micro-disturbance mixing pile machine (DMP construction method equipment) is a new digital construction technology mixing pile drilling machine jointly developed by SEMW and well-known domestic enterprises, institutes, and universities, mainly to solve the pile body during the construction of traditional mixing piles. Slightly uneven, low level of informatization, difficult to control the construction quality, more replacement soil, large construction disturbance, low pile formation efficiency and other problems. The equipment adopts digital construction technology, which has the characteristics of high safety and reliability, high pile quality, little disturbance in the surrounding environment, and high construction effect. Through GPS pile position setting out, the pile diameter is 850mm, and the maximum construction depth can reach 45m. The resistance during mixing can improve the mixing uniformity of cement soil and the pile quality. The equipment can not only add cutting blades as needed, prevent clay from sticking to the drill pipe and form mud balls, and reduce disturbance to the formation, but also has a special design of drilling tools and supporting equipment, and the verticality of the pile can be controlled at 1/300. The efficiency is obvious.
